If you are working to GO GREEN like so many others, the St. Joseph County Soil & Water Conservation District has a wonderful opportunity for you to do just that. This year there are 21 species of trees and/or shrubs to choose from, as well as wildflower seeds and groundcover.
Trees are a great investment in your property for many years to come. If you are not sure you need any trees/shrubs for your own property why not consider purchasing one or two as gifts to friends, neighbors, church, or your community. What a wonderful way to celebrate new life or remembering someone who has passed on.
Pre-orders end on Monday, March 1, 2010 and trees will be available to be picked up at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds (in the Swine Barn) on Saturday April 17, 2010 .
